Cage trolleys can be used for a variety of purposes from secure baggage to waste transportation.
There are two types of Cage Trolley, one is a cage of 4 castors with push/pull handles and the second is based on a 4 wheeled turntable and is much larger than the first option.
Option 1 – Manufactured from mild steel angle iron and 50 mm square mesh with a wooden deck.
This option can also have lockable lid, mesh deck and a drop down side. The castors used would be a size to match the size of the trolley and be suitable for the working conditions and the carrying capacity, Usually the castors are 2 fixed and 2 swivel with brake if required or swivel all round.
Option 2 – Manufactured from mild steel angle iron, mild steel square tube, 50mm square mesh and a wooden deck.
This 4 wheeled turntable option is mainly a pull trolley which can be turned round on it own axis. It is very manoeuvrable and easy to operate. The 4 wheeled turntable has a large choice of bodies. It can be a small sided open top cage to a full bodied cage with secured lid and a drop down side. Barn type doors can also be used. The floor can be plywood, mesh or steel. The wheels can range from solid to pneumatics, diameter to suit the size of the cage, the working conditions and the carrying capacity.
The trolleys are finished in ex works blue wet spray paint although other colours available on request.
