Our annual MacMillan Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning 2020 was held on Haverigg Industrial Estate on Friday and raised £250.00. We have hosted this event for 3 years now and as usual transported the tea and coffee, cakes and pies on our specially prepared trolley and of course ensured social distancing as required. The industrial estate we work on has many varied businesses all working hard to provide products and services both locally and nationally. It seemed a good idea 3 years ago to take the coffee morning to them, as work obviously prevented them from taking part. The event is now well established and whilst we started with coffee and cake, it is fair to say that everyone now looks forward to the pies, meat and potato, cheese and onion and sausage rolls are the favourites. The generosity of everyone is amazing and we would like to thank them all. Every donation is appreciated and vital, especially during these difficult times.
