We have a customer who requested a 4 wheel turntable to be manufactured in stainless steel.. The brief included puncture proof tyres, a parking brake and a buffalo board deck covered in stainless steel.
Our normal mode of manufacture is using mild steel which is painted. There are however certain industries that require stainless steel for a variety of reasons. As custom made trolley makers, we were happy to oblige.
This trolley is manufactured from the highest grade stainless steel that is available. The basic design is similar to our standard 4 wheel turntable design but made to the exact dimensions required by the customer. The puncture proof tyres used are foam filled rubber with a needle roller bearing centre. These are low maintenance and suitable for all surfaces. The wheels are well within the required weight load required, with each wheel having a load capacity of 150kgs. The parking brake on this trolley is operated using the handle which was another requirement from the customer.
As with all our trolleys, it is easy to manoeuvre and turns on its own length.
